Drum virtuoso Glover Washington has been a prolific contributor to the Chicago music scene for many years. Glover started playing drums at the age of 10 and was performing with gospel singer Inez Andrews by the age of 13. Glover started exploring different genres of music in high school and college, including Rock and Jazz Fusion, and performed with the Black Chorus of Illinois at University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
Over the years, Glover has played in countless bands. He a versatile drummer, earning a reputation for being able to play in numerous styles and formats, and as a result is in high demand by numerous artists throughout the Chicago area. Glover currently performs with the bands Divergent, Blackmarket Democracy, Downtown Charlie Brown and 7 Elements, as well as contributing to studio work with various artists.
Glover plays Drum Workshop kits with Zildjian cymbals, as well as Roland V-drum digital kits for studio work.
